As the deadline for the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan draws closer, the Afghan army is taking over security.

Its military is trying to prove that it can fight the Taliban on the frontlines.

Al Jazeera's Steve Chao reports from a remote outpost in Helmand province on the Afghan army's challenges.
