From Flying down to Rio 1933 with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Fred wisely lets the real Latin dancers take centre stage. It doesn't really get started till half way through this clip when the studio allowed the Latin singers and dancers take centre stage. Thank goodness for that as both the singers and dancers are wonderful. It's probably pure Hollywood invention but nevertheless captures the Brazilian flavour of the times.
