"He Never Got The Message!":

A :30 second TV "Buckle Up in Your Truck" TV spot concept focusing on the fact that most pick-up truck drivers don't think they have to or need to wear seatbelts when they drive their pick-up trucks even though trucks are twice as likely, to roll-over during a crash than automobiles. The pick-up truck drivers even still refuse to do so when their spouses and children remind them over and over.

Major Alabama statewide broadcast TV, cable, and radio broadcast air-buy.

KEY CREW:
Tom Lenard, Producer, Director/DP-Editor
Jessamyn Saxon, First AD, Camera Operator
Larry Shaw, Jib Arm Operator, Engineering and production audio.
Brandon Stoker, Smoke Effects
Andrea Holmes, Talent Casting Assistance and talent wrangling/makeup.

And many many thanks to local and area law enforcement, paramedics, and state troopers for their assistance...

Note: Once again, the Auburn, Alabama community theatre actors provided the source of the excellent actors to audition and participate in the production.

Always appreciate a responsible comment. Sorry you were not buckled up during your accident. Why were you not buckled? TomL

  • Honestly, I think the impact would be greater if they showed him paralyzed a vegetable. People often hold death as the ultimate worst thing that could happen. But I don't think that's the case.

  • anyone notice that it was two different trucks in the roll over scene?

  • 8 months ago I was in a vehicle that lost control and ended up flipping several times. I was not strapped in and got thrown out the rear window. I ended up shattering my pelvis, fracturing vertebrae and received 15 staples to the head. The hospital stay, nursing home stay and rehab were the most awful months of my life. BUCKLE UP PEOPLE!!!

  • Remember folks don't forget to buckle up your Donuts aswell

  • f that - I'm a man - I drive a truck - I don't need no stinkin' belt!

  • My sister survied a roll-over in her pickup and she was buckled up.

  • My buddy ricky was saved by a seatbelt when his tacoma rolled after a dui pulled out in front of him.

  • If he had just gotten away with a few scratches, it wouldn't have had the same impact--and showing the wife and daughter who tried to warn him and are now left to mourn him hits especially hard.

  • this is one of the good ones...........not graphic enuf to hit hard tho.still, all in all its good
