PLEASE READ - this video was shot entirely at random, and I had it private because I've gotten a LOT of flak about it. It's from WAY back in Spring 2008 when I had just started having seizures.

  • Can you do an update to this? What are your thoughts now, a few years later?

  • I admire your off the cuff videos. This is your reality and you get the right to speak it. If other's have a hard time hearing them, they can always hit the back space button.

  • @laravia18 I appreciate it. I have been floundering about starting again, I mean, this was two years ago. And... I bite my tongue.

  • Your seizure, were they due to your low blood sugar?

  • @jawhara2013 No. When tested during a seizure, my sugar was never low.

  • I felt your honesty was helpful. People don't realize how serious gastric bypass surgery is. I went through hell. I nearly died and should have. I have had almost every complication there is. I am on TPN through a central line in my chest because I'm unable to eat and drink enough to sustain myself. Your story and others like you help me see that I'm not alone and I hope people considering the surgery don't take it with a grain of salt.

  • Thank you for your honesty and candor. All of us need to hear the "good" and the "bad". Basically, you're advising us to be doing our research and thinking very hard about our decisions and the ramifications that could result. We all must deal with our own choices and your video was a very candid reminder.

  • To top it all off, one can have it reversed if they so choose.

  • Thank you so much for your honesty. I am currently waivering between gastric bypass and the lapband. You have helped me make my choice.

  • Hi ! I'm a 26 yrs old guy weighing 330 pounds. I've strictly been adviced by my doctors to get the gastric bypass.. Seeing the success of all the people with their weight loss, I was pretty much convinced in the beginning. But seeing the long term side effects and complications, I've changed my mind now and will be considering other options for weight loss.. Could you suggest me anything which is healthy and effective.. You're really a very strong lady.. Much respect !! God bless u..!

  • I like your videos. I like that you're honest! :) And I love that you're so positive.
