This Song is by Corb Lund and the Hurtin' Albertans from the album of the same name.... I DO NOT OWN IT!
I used as historically accurate photos as I could. I hope you enjoy this great song as much as I do! Leave a comment tell me what you think of my first music vid!?!

  • @ LukeWapelhorst awesome thanks for sharing!!!!

  • dude so right just enjoy the song!!!!

  • Ok people if the incorrect pics are bugging you that much.... fix them and re-upload it... don't be rude... be creative!

  • @RazorCell7 @holysmokinkitty Hold on now folks, theres no need to get so worked up and no need for throwing insults or be hostile. Yes, at 1:24 the pic is of mongol warriors fighting Teutonic knights, when the song is talking about Saracens and the crusades in the middle east but we can be polite in pointing this out or calling someone who has their passion for history get the better of them a troll. Lets be cool, k?

  • @WolfLord5 thanks you for your words wolf.... I wasn't trying to call razor a troll I was just trying to say what you were, why be rude and insult.... it was as if he was just looking for a fight is all... I as well have a passion for history and it is all a learning process is it not I can appreciate someone telling me I made a mistake infact I welcome it but really why be rude about it?!

  • @MrGateway75 - this is the song as it appears on the album - personally I feel that the fade out at the end is very effective, illustrating the ongoing nature of war...

  • I really like this song - thanks for sharing your vision of it's story. Corb writes a fine song. This is also one of the best history lessons I've ever heard - if we could only learn from all the horror of war so there would be no more reason for the loss of horse or horseman.

  • I don't know if it's me but there's should more to this song. a longer version if there is i'd like to hear it

  • Loved this. Now this is what real men looked like. To bad we are becoming to soft belly! Thanks for the video...Loving the South brother! Home Sweet Home!

  • As one of terry's texas rangers makes me proud some people still care about the war horse and it's coming full circle in the 21st century

  • @holysmokinkitty

    You're welcome. Thanks.

  • This song gives me a very different impresison of Corb Lund. The lyrics contain more history, and vocabulary than many popular musicians do in an entire career. The subtle anti war sentiment is also appreciated because I think intially the catchy tune attracts pro war fools. Only to find out the whole song paints a picture of the senselessness of war, but it does it through the contradictions presented in his story.
