We tried Prohibition once in the 30's and 40's and we all know how that went.

Alcohol--TOBACCO---SUGAR--BIC MACS...are more addictive than POT and are also more deadly. If you keep Drinking you may damage your LIVER. If you keep smoking you may damage your LUNGS. If you keep consuming SUGAR you may get Diabetes. I have never met one person that has died because of POT.

It should be legalized, but not because it's "less bad for you" than other things. Laws should not be passed that are intended to protect the individual from themselves. If you want to kill yourself with smoking, over eating, drinking, heroin... Then so be it. If your actions can somehow harm me, then that is the purpose of gov't... To protect me from you.
