  • I think Nixon won this debate

  • He (JFK), in the first debate, said '61, '62, and '63 that he would be not possible to reduce the national debt. Those were only years in office. Remarkable.

  • JFK was the greatest president to take the oath of office, there has not been a more patriotic president since our four fathers

  • I'm not unhappy that Kennedy won. But Nixon shouldn't have cocked his head to the side, should have accepted the offer to put on make-up, and should have gotten clearance to say there wasn't a "missle gap." After the Cook County cheating, I sometimes wonder if that isn't something Nixon internalized for later.

  • IMO seeing them on this video tape presentation is like they are alive again, wonderful history caught live on tape and better, more immediate than film!
