  • Playing classical music well is a very difficult matter both technically and intelectually. That's why players like Menuhin and Milstein are revered. Composing violin music is another very difficult business, and that's why Wieniawski and a few others are revered to this date. It is absolute nonsence to compare with pop music, rock, etc, which in spite of their merits dont require the kind of formation classical musicians need to have.

  • I have to agree with MatthewDCarroll. Just because some "Metal guitar" players dont play so well doesn't mean the lot of them are shit! There are plenty of violin players and teachers that can't play Paganini well but they still do it. Besides, what's wrong with a younger generation getting turned on to Classical music! It has to be preserved somehow. You people stop being so damn pretentious about this wonderful music.

  • Hacer un capricho en violín es bastante complicado, este tipo cuantos hizo? Superó cualquier espectativa humaba al respecto.

  • EXCELENTE

  • @ofsn00 Music is sound organized with thought and emotion.

Song-wise some lyrics may have empty meaning, but the actual sound that is music, is appealing or no one would listen to it. Rock evolved out of R&B who's to say something similar can't happen with pop? Anyone who says he Loves music and discriminates based on genre is a liar, if you like a rap song but you listen to mostly classical music, embrace what you like no matter what others say.& you may even introduce a great new genre.

  • 4:05 pizzicato! how amazing...

  • I think hes playing too fast, this is probably the most sentimental caprice and requires a little more expressive playing. BTW: I prefer the Fischer's version for this caprice.

  • @ofsn00 there goes the reason why we Neo Classical Musicians Exist, honestly it's frustrating...

  • 11 people got frustrated trying to play paganini

  • I like how he doesn't take the middle section too fast. most people race through it so they can show off. at least Milstein makes the most of the musical aspects...not something that is often done with this or any of the caprices.
