@metalboi22 - experiment, practice, watch how to videosm read the manual/on-line help. you don't need this additional hardware surface (though nice as it is) to create music or control your environment using Sonar 8.

why do you have to have all this expensive bullshit just to be able to use Sonar 8? I honestly feel like I wasted my money on it. I am using EZDrummer as my VST in multi-out mode and all I wanna do is be able to record my grooves so I can play over them and record my ideas with my VST drums. This whole DAW is so complicated to use it's ridiculous!!! Thinking about going back to sony acid. Way fewer head aches with that one
