Volvo did not make the D24, it's a Audi/Volkswagen engine that Volvo put in their cars. I have one in my Volvo 945, a TDI. It has run for 510000 km now and still going strong. =)

VW created first this engine!

Volvo is "powerized" this engine.

VW is 102HP,and 195 Nm torque,without intercooler.

Volvo is 122 HP,and 250Nm torque,with intercooler.

Without cooler this Volvo 109HP,and 220 Nm torque.

@kottado Im looking to do a conversation like this (either gas v8 or turbo diesel) and am wondering what engines you would recommend to use and how much would a conversion like this cost.

I saw one of these things, older hatchback and i could of swore it had a cummins motor. it was straight piped too
