PTD Rock Tunnel (Full Walkthrough)

The Rock Tunnel in PTD is not as confusing as you think as you would in the games Firered/Leafgreen. Requirements: Pokemon with Flash, Whirlwind, strong Water attacks, strong Electric attacks, and Bulldoze. Those are what I used to beat the entire thing.

Basic Walkthrough: (Starting from entrance of map)

To fight Big Onix (from beginning)- Left, Right, Up, Right, Up, Up, Left, Left, Down, Down, Up, Up, Right

To find exit (from beginning)- Right, Up, Up, Up, Left

You must have the move Flash in your team in order to advance! Now you must note that EVERYTHING must be fought here, so all the Pokemon groups and Trainers. One great tip is during the Pokemon group waves, you DON'T have to kill them; simply just do nothing and wait til the waves end (I know pretty long). The trainers, however must be fought and beaten. To be honest. they are all easy except for the first one you see, with the pesky Gyarados (beacause the Geodude used Mud Sport which weakens Electric-type moves)

If you can get through the first trainer, the rest should be easy until the Big Onix fight. They in fact attack you with Rock Throws or whatever. They usually attack your first pokemon so send something out that is resistant to rock, such as Golem. During that fight just slow the Onixs with Bulldoze and use Water/Grass attacks.

Congrats! You beat the Big Onixs, now what? Well you saved the old man that was stuck, so make your way back to the entrance- Left, Down x4, Left. You should now see a man with shiny Voltorbs. It's the first shiny quest! Do it and you got yourself a Shiny Voltorb!
