A black Tele tubbie, a stolen camera and an outrageous pimp are just some of the colorful and hilarious cast of characters that make up Chicago's sketch comedy film series "Urban Scenze".

Beginning on live stage like other sketch comedy shows "Urban Scenze" has gained a huge underground following and has become a comedic and hip interpretation of Chicago's urban madness in all of the harshness, and chaos of the big city. Lawrence uses his gift of humor to give light to issues we only glance at.

Remaining true to the live show the film has a real urban quality to it with a strong hip-hop community influence, being compared to "In Living Color", "Monty Python" and "The Dave Chappell Show" the skits are as edgy and controversial as ever.
