The ending of the tag line "Swing, American!" just makes me think they were alluding to the swinging, wife swap culture of the late 1960's and early 1970's.

Mason Adams is the announcer here....and their slogan/jingle was "La Choy makes Chinese food....SWING AMERICAN!"
