  • LOL - that's almost exactly the way I remember swing. I may have mentioned Jack Nicholson's final moments in "The Shining" - morph that into the commercial and you have a pretty good idea of my final moments of the ritual...

  • Honorable egg rolls.

  • The ending of the tag line "Swing, American!" just makes me think they were alluding to the swinging, wife swap culture of the late 1960's and early 1970's.

  • Mason Adams is the announcer here....and their slogan/jingle was "La Choy makes Chinese food....SWING AMERICAN!"

  • I believe it's "swing American," not "sweet."

  • Come to think of it, I guess egg rolls are honorable... never met one I didn't like.

  • "In 5 sociable sizes!"... so, uhm, I reck'n I'd better not eat them while ALONE...
