I am studying the Sahih al Bukhari, a collection of hadith relating to the words and deeds of Muhammed. While reading it at my local Starbuck's, a man who identified himself as a Muslim asked me what I thought of Islam. I said that the ugly tthings in the Bukhari made me ill disposes towards it. He then said "That book is not Muslim, it's written by JEWS so everyone will hate one another. I said the translation was done by the Saudi scholar Muhammed Mahsin Kahn and that I bought it at a Wahabi bookstore owned by Saudis and that it's got nothing to do with Jews.

All this idiot managed to do was reinforce my conviction that Islam does indeed teach hatred of others.

@RedsNMaduroMan Muslims usually claim that any sort of controversial text or story in Islam was concocted by the Jews. Frankly, their logic is the product of an extreme hatred for Jews that Muhammad developed in Medina after the Jews rejected him as a prophet of God. They sensed his ignorance of their beliefs, the nature of God, their traditions, legacies, etc. Ibn Q. al-Rassooli has some good lectures on Muslim anti-Semitism.

"He is created of gushing fluid, which issues forth from between the loins and the breastbones" (86:7-8) means that people are born from the seminal fluid gushing from between a man's loins and then they are fed from their mother's breastmilk. Thus, the 'gushing fluid' applies to both of these things, and both locations of the body are where there is fluid which is vital to life. One actually causes life, the other helps preserve it. It only sounds wrong when its meant only as seminal fluid.
