Our son is 22 and loves the water, we would love to know what kind of a water safety belt he is wearing. Looks wonderful. So enjoyed the video, teary eyed to remember our son so young! Our son came so close to walking independently, just never happened. Not such a big deal in our eyes. If we could give him anything it would be his voice, not that he doesn't speak volumes with his face and hands!!! " I may not speak, but have much to say" Thanks again for the video.

@rjw112881 Thank you for your kind response. I love my son so much. The water belt I will have to look at and tell you what it is but it is in the car now and it's late. It's really just a water exercise belt though. I will respond again though.

I dont know why I really love the clip of him at the picnic table listening to the beatles and eating what looks to be some good barbeque. He looks so happy after every bite lolll I've often felt eating and music were two of life's greatest things haha Is that his Dad? I like the way he holds on to his dad's arm before each bite, then after he gets a bite he smiles and kinda dances a little. Good for him to have such a great family. Bless y'all.

Once again I will comment that his response while there was unusually accurate. He rarely to this day responds with appropriate nods and head shaking so it happened on the toilet. You can't see anything private. The only people that find it inappropriate are the ones who can't see the positive but want to find something to criticize. Try putting your rose colored glasses on and seeing the good instead of looking for the bad. Good day.

@hottdog2007 OMG I am so sick of responding to this. Yes it's the toilet. Read the other comments. I am happy with the video. Despite the fact that he happened to be on the toilet he was unusually communicative so that is why it is there. He rarely responds like that. I filmed him there because that is where he was when he became so responsive.

Hi, thanks so much for posting such personal moments. It really helps to understand. I was wondering if Chris has ever tried a weighted spoon to help steady his arm more when he's using the spoon? Or non-skid matting under his bowl (I saw the sponge there). Best wishes for you and your family!

I just love this video !!!! I had to phone my daughter and tell her to take a look. I have a angel son named Jesse, Christopher reminds me so much of Jesse. very nice video. and please don't worry about the toilet thing. it's a cute video and like you said "nothing private". sitting on the throne is part of life,... I'm afraid. :)

Your all doing a great job encouraging his happiness. I wonder if one of those mouthpieces they are using for toruette's treatment would help him? It seems like he does good with that bib wadded up in his mouth. Maybe that would help? He really is a joy to watch.
