A message I preached at my friend's wedding.

"Christianity is not supposed to be known for its doctrine or beliefs... it's supposed to be known for its love"
"He doesn't treat you based on what you've done or failed to do... He treats you based on how He loves you, because He IS love."
"There's nothing you can do to change the way the Father loves you"
"Love has no agenda other than to freely express itself to another person without anything in return"
"Love is not self-seeking, it is you-seeking"
"Love says, 'I love you because I love you, not because of anything you do'"
"Eternal life is learning how to love"
"Love isn't in words"
"Because I love, I serve. It is possible to serve without loving, but it is impossible to love and not serve. It is possible to give without loving, but impossible to love and not give, because for God so loved, He gave."

John 13:34-35
Psalm 103:10
Luke 15:11-23
John 15:8
1 John 4:7
John 17:3
1 John 3:18
1 Peter 4:8

  • man! your so young!!! i've always watched your videos of bill and stuff, never thought u'd be so young! haha did u study at bethel?

  • @ceyota1

I followed the podcast from 2006-2008 and I was in Redding for 6 months in 2009.

I can definitely say I learned more about Bethel Culture just following 3 years of podcasts than I did hanging out there in 6 months. They really did a good job with those podcasts exporting their culture. Though, with this message that I preached, 80% of it I caught while reading a book called, "The Misunderstood God" by Darin Hufford.

That book rewired 90% of what I understood about love.

  • Brother, I have been watching your videos a lot. I have enjoyed and gained great insight from the likes of Bill Johnson and others. But I have to say that it was most impressive to see you preaching your own message. Way to go, Bro!!!! Well said; well spoken. I'm assuming that this was not your first time preaching?

  • @356jesusfreak

Yeah.. I actually got back from Finland recently. It was my first 'official' ministry invitation. Some of my friends there flew me out, set up 4 conferences for me in 3 weeks. Definitely had a lot of practice there.

    Thanks for the encouragement!

  • @whizzpopping huh. sounds like a good book. i'll try to find it in our library. im sooo jelous!! i've always wanted to go to bethel!!!! so how old are you? are you in full time ministry now? or still in 'training'?

  • seemingly happenstance, with eyes swollen from a night of tears, I turn on laptop...sitting here listening to your words...feeling the steel of refocus growing in my soul. God IS love & I am His! He does all things well & He made me 'well'. He brought my husband & I together & HE will teach us how to walk in Love. No not happenstance, rather God's perfect timing. Thank you for your anointed words, for the captions, the listing of verses, and the text you took the time to add. Thank you.

I have a ton of video... still in the process of getting it up. Of ~15 sessions, only 3 of them weren't recorded. The editing is just a tedious process because the messages were also translated.

Yup.. got no plans to stop =].

  • Bro, that's awesome!!!! Hope you have some video of that trip. I hope to join in on that fun one day myself. Keep up the good work, my friend. Keep pressing in to Him and being obedient. I have no doubt that He will take you farther than you ever dreamed. Thanks for the response. In Christ's Love
