If this song was featured in a Hollywood big budget movie that won tons of Oscars believe me it would soon be regarded as one of THE lost gems of 60's music. I have loved this song since I was 19 and have turned on all my friends to it and have never heard nothing but positive feedback. Neil needs to bring this into his set on next tour.

I like Buffalo Springfields First Album its a good one.

Headed for SEA, this was what I heard. Upon returning home they all continued to produce wonderful stuff over the years. Poco, Manasas, CSN&Y, etc....a bounty not to be taken for granted.

Still wonderful

Hey, when you've got it, you've got it.

Only just found out that there's a tour. Must have been asleep the last six months. Beautiful memories of when I first heard this song. A vinyl album from the states. Played the song with my two best friends in the Sixties. Think I'll play the track again.

After all these years, some new tunes From The Buff would be awesome..

Beautiful and poignant memory. Amazing how deeply a song can touch members of a generation.

@zozomo Believe me, we who were there can attest to this concert as sounding even better than their albums of 43+ years ago! It was pure magic at Shoreline! Let's hope that they make an album from this!
smiling thru near-tears at the last refrain. Richie was the great voice of Springfield, Neil's uniqueness notwithstanding. And, Steve no slouch if he doesn't get carried away. I guess Richie was/is not only great but more than that, willing to serve the song and not his ego. Thanks, mucho.

I also fell in love with this song in 1966. My first love was visiting me & it etched itself into my being. In 1968, before I left for Vietnam, I sat next to her at their next-to-the-last concert. One of the greatest & saddest moments of my life. She was with her boyfriend and they held hands. "Clancy" kept my spirits up during my time in Vietnam. "And who's coming home on old 95?"
Now, the 2nd saddest thing for me is not knowing they were to perform again.
I'd have given anything to be there!
