looks like its a traditional cast iron wok bought at the wok shop.
i had two of them.. and i destroyed them each with a hammer.
at the end of the video i see bare metal surfaced in the middle of the pan.
my woks stayed like that for months and it did not season, so i broke them.
on the other hand my hand hammered carbon steel woks works like a dream

@powerplantop It's been about a month plus now, and I use mine every day. It has gotten seasoned so well now! Even better, it flavors the food with that crispy "cantonese" style taste that i'd only get in SF chinatown rest. This puppy heats up in a matter of seconds, and I love love love it...

@djamorpheus I've used it all this week, and it seems to get better and better. I can fry an egg on it, and no sticking at all now. Get one!
