Some shots (mostly Friday because I didn't have a cable to connect to the festivals solar power supply and my tiny pocketcam batteries went empty) with tiny pocketcam and an audio recording gadget.
Willekleurig is a fantastic, very small, festival for people who like to consuminder and particimeer :) Very very very nice.
It runs fully on Solar power, so no huge P.A's and extensive lighting, just simple solutions that work in the Solar environment.
I had brought my small professional 3+2-channel portable mixer-system (fully 12V based) and some simple mikes and discovered that they only had a DJ-mixing desk that didn't even have XLR or jack inputs. So I offered to be their 'soundman' for the bands and sat in between the solar powered PA and the instruments and mikes. Quite a challenge, because I'm not a trained mixing engineer and the kind of professional equipment I was carrying is not very tolerant for mistakes, I had to think very hard at points. But I had great fun in playing the role and the organisation gladly allowed me to particimeer :) Wonderful! Great learning experience! Excellent fun!
NB NB and the first bit of audio, the eerie choir, was recorded in the grass, under heavy wind, next to the water, willekleurige muziek (as stated by somebody with an accordeon), with as well Willie on bass and singing, Kiki on mandoline and Edwin on guitar and singing.

NB the last bit of audio was recorded in the 'dome' tent. Performed by the singer of Le Titre and the singer/gitarist of Liquid Landscape. That was an amazing moment, they had never played together before..
