You people, are ridiculous. It's not a fad, or a trend. And for me, hell no it ain't no disease. It's a life style. It's MY life. Its about being in control. It's about for once, I have the power to change SOMETHING. So grow up, and meet someone like this. Don't judge or hate because you aren't like us.

I don't think it's as much about being thin as people think. It's about being in control of something in your life, in this case your weight, and the food you eat. It's a show of will power to yourself, albeit not a good one at all, and a result of stress and confusion. You have the chance to decide something for yourself. To prove that you can do something right by being thin. It's not okay for girls to feel like this, and it's not all about being skinny.

I know what I'm talking about... I was anorexic... I loved when I was anorexic and really thin... Now, I hate my body and I can't look myself in the mirror... I'm comparing my body to the other girls all the time...
I'm gonna start doing my diet again, and I'm gonn lose all of weight that I gained

it is a mental state but it's so one can achieve, in part, control in their lives because they feel as though there are parts of their lives that feel like they have no control over. that's why i did it.

its not a physical disease, it more of a mentality that people place themselves into to get what they think is "the perfect body" its like smoking, its addictive. lol, technically, it is also "contagious".
