Thanks for this upload...miss ya Koko! Come play in San Diego, CA. Saw you at least 10 times in Chicago (70s-90s)

God Bless You Koko!!!

God I love this woman - going to start traveling farther to see her - She and Etta James are the last of the greats that we have left still performing.

Oh Yes, I have all of her albums including Old School. I just love it.

Just one thing...If you have the chance to see these original Chicago artists live, don't pass it up. We are at the very end of that window of opportunity. I saw Buddy Guy a couple of years ago. He was a bit sloppy but still mojo all the way. My 19 year old son (who is a musician) said "Dad, did you feel that energy just flowing out of him?" Now That's real music!

Isn't she great. This was a great night. I made a vow to not miss any more of the real blues folks when they come to my neighborhood. Thanks for the comment. I have her opener from the same show (Let the good times roll) but it is too big to fit on youtube. If I can figure out how to get it on I will do it.

Please put it on youtube and if not can you send the opener to me through an e-mail. I just loke Kok Taylor and that would mean so much if you could do so.

I will try again to post her opener from that night. I am kind of busy so check back in a few days.
Thanks for your interest in this GREAT woman of the blues. (Have you heard the new album yet?)
