Surf Long Beach, Cal. Really rare!! Jan. 23, 2010

We had a freak swell the past few days. The waves were huge at Huntington Beach so a few surfers decided to surf here in Long Beach. Surfing waves at Belmont Shore is really rare because in the mid 40's there was a breakwater built in the bay. Many of us would like to have some of the breakwater removed.
