The association between Corvettes and astronauts is showcased in a parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of Alan B. Shepard's historic sub-orbital flight in Cocoa Beach, Fla. where surviving astronauts rode Corvettes representing all six design generations built since the famed sports car's 1953 debut.

  • The USA and Chevrolet STILL build rockets !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The silver '82 shown on the 'front cover' of this Chevrolet video, is our '82...and other cars are provided by members of our club...the Cape Kennedy Corvette Club...founded in 1967. We enjoy having both our Vette there, but the '82, and the Astronauts derserved the most attention. Our red '06 is visible in a few spots here and there as well throughout the video and some photo galleries. I hope everyone this video as much as we did being a part in the making of it!
