Here's some footage from the Kodak Zi8 taken in low light conditions both inside and out at Hengistbury Head, Christchurch near Bournemouth. It was about 4pm and overcast. The footage looks quite bright and not too much sign of noise even at the end when it really was very dark. The image stabiliser has done a pretty good job and the only shots with any real shake are the clips taken whilst I was walking, which most camcorder image stabilisers would struggle with. Anybody who has this camera and is disapointed with it needs to upgrade the firmware using the instructions supplied, the difference is huge. Under the music you can clearly hear the wind noise on the mic which is unavoidable in the circumstances and no different to many other cameras. Will be doing audio tests soon. The footage was shot completely handheld in HD 1080p then output to H264 720p for youtube, with no picture enhancements.

Why does everyone look British... O.O
By the way, clouds at 0:53 are gorgeous. Thanks for the footage, I was wondering whether to buy it or not.. I guess you can't go wrong with $80. xD
