Final Fantasy XIII: Trapezohedron + Platinum Ingot Farm Setup. Kill Time 1 min!

I decided to give a tutorial on how I farm in Final Fantasy XIII. This guide is one of many ways on getting trapezohedrons and platinum ingots. I walk through the whole process, Killing the beast and regaining the TP required to kill the beast again. If there are any questions please ask them or refer to the links posted.

Obtaining Champion's Belt:

You can find it in a treasure check at Eden in an area called Siren Park.

Process of making ethersol:

1. Purchase a Speed Sash from Moogleworks. 10,000 gil
2. Use 8 Sturdy Bone to get 1.5x multiplier 640 gil
4. Use 2 Superconductors to master 1,680 gil
3. Upgrade using a Mnar Stone 60,000 gil
4. Use 1 Superconductor to master 840 gil
5. Dismantle for 1 ethersol
73,160 gil

@jinjishu BTW you know a good CP farming place for people with 6-7k hp????

@CyberThechSlifer Well that depends on what chapter you are on. if you made it to what I think is chapter 10, you can farm the beast waiting just outside of the mines. You can always surprise attack them. Honestly though, I wouldn't worry about CP farming, cause you'll get all that you need framing for traps. Tell me what chapter you are on, and I will see what I can do. Keep in mind it has been awhile since I last played this game.

I hate sazh so much, I refuse to use him I use Vanille/Hope/Fang to get ingots and Traps... But normally I use Light/Hope/Fang but I can't overpower the dame over grown turtle so I have to keep casting death on them... That's how I do it and I also don't bother with the edilons/aeons/summons x

@iamowe1992 yeah, YOU DO get traps this way. However, it's a rare drop at 1%. The purpose of this vid was to learn how to kill the turtle.

@CyberThechSlifer farm mission 24 in the tower u get 6k cp or 12k with egg. plus u get a 6k sell item every run takes maybe 30 secs.

@iamowe1992 Dude, the Trapes are a rare drop. In order to get them without dishing out 2mil gil on a single Trape in the store, you have to kill these things. Get with the program, already.

I have a question regarding your Paradigm decks, the first 4 are great ideas, but you don't mention anything about he last two, and I noticed that you don't use them in the fight. Are they open for the personal preference or do you have suggestions or some insight on what you have setup there?

@CyberThechSlifer im knew to most of this maxing and stuff, im just about to fight orphan.. can you leave orphans cradle and go back to the open field areas with the missions? not sure of the map name that has the massive lava beast in the background

@Awakentheend and gill farm without luck like (15% Platium ingot 5% Trap so i dont realy have luck

because at Mission 55 (neochu) i used death + Malboro Wand (tier2) and it takes 50% of his health with only death but not dead and its summoned pikochu's (or what the name is)

@CyberThechSlifer i know a good one, chapter 13 orphans cradle, before you fight barthaleous and orphan theres a monster that gives 32k cp a kill, kill time about 1.4min

or you could just use vanile's death ability start the fight summon her eidolin to make the toise fall then spam
