Funny thing is... no matter who you voted for you're at war with Irak, Afghanistan and probably Iran in the near future...

Democracy in the present is a joke....

The 100 years comment was taken out of context... We're still in Japan, Italy and Germany since WWII and we're not necessarily at war... He didn't mean we'd be at war in Iraq for 100 years...

And everyone knows that if we stayed in Iraq for 100 years we'll be fighting for 100 years. They were a sovereign nation, that we attempted to occupy. If some country came here and tried to occupy us for 100 years, they'd be at war with us for 100 years.

We didn't try to occupy Germany, Japan and Italy. Huge difference.

We went block by block and met the Soviets in the middle of the country... We helped them rewrite their constitutions and everything...

Being in Iraq for 100 years does not mean being at war for 100 years... I will completely disagree with you their, and I actually agreed with Obama on his Iraq policy... But he took John McCain's quote out of context for political gain, as most politicians would... Its just not "change"... Its more of the same...

We fought (reluctantly) with many other countries to stop Hitler from occupying all of Europe. We didn't just decide one day, Hitler is a bad man, lets go bomb the fuck out their country. Taking hundreds of thousands of civilians along with him.

Trust me... If we try to occupy ANY muslim country, we will continue to fight everyday. They will not rest until we leave them alone, and every day we are there breeds more and more terrorism. Remember, Iraq never attacked us.

THANK YOU!! At last somebody who is being rational! Vietnam never attacked the US either. You all (I was of Russian decent, look me up!) shouldn't invade countries who aren't attacking just because war = capital. In all fairness to Vietnam & Korea it wasn't unreasonable for them to arrest McCain. Had Vietnam sent personnel to invade America they'd have been obliterated, not captured. Even IF the myth which spread is accurate, would state-authoritated breeding be such a bad thing??
