  • @gtsdesigns I know a guy that might need that fuse block so I'm gonna see if he want it but I'm going to hold onto the rest of the truck accessories except the intake, that has to go. I know it produce more torque but I hate the way it look. I saw some guys on LS1 tech make the rest of the truck accessories look real nice. I just wish I would have seen it before I went out & bought the LS1 WP, balancer, PS pump, & A/C compressor. Ill be doing another swap so i will use it then.

  • @gtsdesigns Oh yeah... I have the LS1 intake, rails & injectors. I wanted the LS6 but that will have me way outta budget on this thing. Good looking on the info but I already picked up some EV1 connectors for the LS1 injectors. I sure I dont know everthing so if you think of anything else hit me up!

  • @veltboy314 current performance has a nicer setup (which is what I have), tell you what, sell the underhood fuse block and recover some of your money, have you sold all the stuff on the motor you do not want yet? ill check around to see how much they are going for... but it may be enough to buy the other fuse and relays you need...

  • @gtsdesigns Yep thats the truck harness. I have the underhood fuse block too but that thing is bulky & UGLY LOL! Im not afraid if the wiring part so I'm going to have to go with a smaller aftermarket fuse / relay block that I can sit to the side unnoticed or tuck somewhere where it cant be seen. Aint no hiding that factory mofo lol.

  • @gtsdesigns Yeah that labeling took a while, wish I labeler! I'm going to remove all the wires & separate each of the connectors, mount the PCM where I want it & once I get the engine in I will run the connectors to the PCM one by one adding wire or shortening them as needed. That will keep me from having to label both ends. It will also be easier than trying to deal with all the wires at once and trying to route everything so it looks nice. The harness will be much cleaner this way

  • good job getting labeling out the way, that is about the hardest part (most time consuming part) of the process. while its out, you may want to label the other end of some of the wires you think you will be extending or cutting, cause it makes it easy to see what you are doing, if doing it while motor is in the car

  • I see you are using the truck harness, did you pull the under hood fuse block too? cause in that case, it would make it extremely easy to fire the motor, without much/any real modification... or additional fuse block/relay setup. but it looks like you are not afraid to get it in with the wiring.

Also, which intake did you settle on using? I thought I saw a ls1/ls6 style in another video. with the car injectors, you need to change the injector ends, on the harness, but you prob already know.
