  • is upgrading your computer to this size going to make HD videos run faster ?

  • @iolliex It certainly can, but there is no way for me to know if that will work in your case. If the HD videos are online, you need a very good internet connection...

  • Why didn't you just max the machine out with the memory. I mean 512 is nothing even when the machine was new.

  • At the time this PC was new, that memory was VERY expensive.

For a couple of years, that memory was hard to find a almost any price.

Finally one can now get some on eBay.

  • @FreeCompConsultant i have an old pc which i want to record my xbox gameplay with ,...

  • My 2002 computer has 2 x 224mb of memory. o________O

  • @Agownsrs2 tbh, just get 4GB

  • COOL

  • I have a dell dimension 1100 series lol. It had a decent 512mb on it and I was thinking about buying an extra 1gb which only cost anywhere around $30-$40. It runs on a very smooth 2.66Ghz intel celeron with XP pro. I upgraded the video card with a 256mb card and a 320gb hard drive. 1.5GB of RAM would probably make my pc run like a new one.
