Considered by who to be "one of the world's best sport dives"?? That's a joke.. It's actually one of the worst dives in Cozumel.. More like a glory dive for some and a waste of a dive for most others. If you like swim-throughs then Palancar gardens is much better... If you want to go deep, then Maracaibo deep is the best... Devil's Throat is way over-hyped..

Did the dive last thursday with chucho. He is a dive master with his own business that takes 5 or 6 people at a time. When I was there in April he said it was his favorite. We had to much wind the day we were to do it. That is why I went back last week. Unbelievable. Freaky. Good halloween dive. Just him and I thru the throat and the church. Can't wait to share with my kids next time we go down. Excellent video Bill.

Just noticed it gets a bit dark dropping off at 124 feet. How is your level of narcosis at this stage of the dive?

Hi,
If you dive at 80 -90 feet often, it will not be a problem. If you get narked at 90 feet I would not suggest doing it. Generally, when diving Cozumel wall dives are from 80 - 100 feet. If you dive all week and dont have a problem on the wall dives, GO FOR IT!!

Why is your fins different colors?

The Dive Master uses twodifferent fins so everyone knows who to follow. I did the filming the Divemaster led the way. We went through the Devils Throat ,The Church where the coral makes a cross and the Cathedral. Dive lasted about 35 minutes
