  • @John41tube Check out the Sea Shepherd organisation, that's exactly what they are doing.

  • @ningajedi Should have written..2Mins-53Secs into the Video......

  • @ningajedi....................Sean Cannon from The Dubliners........[Also at 2Mins-35secs im sure that those nice Nordic people from the Faroe Islands having their Pilot Whale Hunt... mad really but they call same a old tradition but then they want you to go up there to support their ecotourist efforts by wait for it "Whale Watching"] .....sorry for rambling on......

  • Written by Andy Barnes, who never seems to get the credit for it. Well done Andy one of the finest songs ever written mate.

  • @nipplebrady1988

probably your right,I just love the music,i don't really know much about the group, your right though that its a good song and my heart breaks everytime i hear it

  • @senneuh1 i have known members of the dubliners for a few years and i doubt that sean sung this sont because he wanted to highlight the plight of whales (all thou i wont deny it does that job very well) i think they did it because its a bloody good song

  • @nipplebrady1988 maby u noticed that they sung this song because they WANT to get their point across

no offence but its quite clear that this song is only made to realize men that they must act now to save themselves

  • @nipplebrady1988 true it is a great song, by a great band, and I would be the first one to appreciate a photo or video footage of the Dubliners, but listen to the words, if this isn't a song against whaling I don't know what it is! As such I fully applaud the *bunch of bloody bunny huggers* for using it as a background to an anti whaling campaign.

  • Absolutely superb, the song and Sean
