This films stand alone in there own right and have a super rabbid following of fans. Fans that won't let these film be forgotten by the wearing down of time...

This is such a masterpiece. It really set a standard in it's time for gay, lesbian and transgendered children. It's on a very special list of films, such as, This Special Friendship, For A Lost Soldier, Body Without Soul and the Flavor Of Corn, that stand alone in tackling issues that stray very far outside the narrow minded christian box that plagues the west and the content and philosophy of films that deal with childhood coming of age. A masterpiece!
