  • the surviving ones still left have had a long long life and will die soon but one thing i will never forget them.. they are truely amazing people it will be sad to see them go but they have had to live with thous horrific momories for so many years..

  • Good for him but Steve Humphries did this about 10 years ago filming many of the last veterans. His shows go out on The History Channel.

  • The Last French veteran "poilu" named Lazare Ponticelli born in 1897 who died in March 17 2008 he were from 3th REI " Legion Etrangère"

    Rest in Peace! in memory of all Veterans and soldiers of WW1 We never forget!
