  • Chen is intentionally losing. Come on, beef with broccoli? This is iron chef, not panda express!!!

  • No Freaking Way! Dr Hattori - the regular commentator with the encyclopedic knowledge of cooking - actually challenges the Iron Chefs on the Battle Truffle episode.

  • @Wesleyfromindy2 According to Wikipedia - which I would only trust for non-controversial topics like this - Michiba had 32 wins, 5 losses, 1 draw, for 86.5% wins. Chen had 67 wins, 22 losses, 3 draws, for 75.3% wins.

  • 32 wins out of 35... 91.4 winning percentage.

  • I really want to see the episode where Michiba battled the foreign chefs to become Mr. Iron Chef 1994. I hope that will be uploaded soon.

  • Michiba has been cooking for 46 years. He deserves a happy retirement.

  • one of the few people able to beat chen. anyone know how many total losses chen had?

  • i was only 56 at that time.

    damn...cock flavored beef!

  • Somehow, I find it hard to believe the Japanese announcer actually said "Holy Toledo!".
