This version is from the 1958 Atlantic lp...Jimmy Giuffre ~ saxes and clarinet, Jim Hall ~ guitar and Ralph Pena ~ bass. I have taken this from my well played 60s copy and cleaned it up as best I can.

  • Thank's so much, this is the unique version.

(probably helped to wear out my aunt and uncle's e.p.in the 60's)

  • @gmtdiato Totally agree, the definitive version imo and also helped to do the same to my lp.

  • Jim Hall-so smooth on this classic.

  • @belfastgypsy1 Love his playing...he can say more with one note than most can do with dozens...

  • @Ynot1666 This is what they call folk jazz a group with no drums

  • This is the version I remember from my first introduction to jazz in the early 1960s. I should still have it on 7" EP somewhere but after several house moves I haven't been able to find it for years. So thanks for uploading this. I just played it three times in a row!

  • One of my all time favorite jazz recordings.

  • Agreed buddy-just made me buy an archtop.!

  • Grande música. Grande Jimmy, JIm e Ralph.

  • magic.
