This is a video of Jakob making his devilock at 3 years old. This was taken a few months before he got to meet the Misfits and go onstage and sing "Dig Up Her Bones" in Denver 2003 at the Orpheum.

The pictures of him dressed up like Jerry, he is 2 1/2 years old.

Jakob's punk history: While most little kids played with Legos and dirt, Jakob was singing, playing & dancing. Instead of watching cartoons, he watched music vidz and listened to CDS. Jakob has always loved the Misfits & punk, he started singing Misfit tunz before he was 1 years old. I like industrial, classic rock, heavy metal & punk, his mother listens to country and his sister listens to pop/rap.....so he has had a diverse bunch of music to choose from. But Jakob chose, on his own.... PUNK! We got him a couple Misfit action figures shortly after he was 1, because he liked the Misfits so much......and he has been hooked ever since. He started liking other punk bands also....it wasn't long and he was singing "Roots Radical", "Beat on the Brat" & "Should I Stay or Should I Go". When he got his first hair-cut, he said he wanted his hair to look like Tim's, so we gave him a mohawk. After a couple more haircuts and constant begging from Jakob to have "Jerry hair" (devilock), we dyed his hair for Halloween and let him have a devilock when he was 2. Jakob's main interest has always been music and we have always supported his, out of the ordinary, but definite, love of music......mainly punk! He is 9 now, he plays bass and HE STILL LOVES PUNK!

The reason I have given a brief history of Jake is because of the hate-mail and mean-spirited comments I have received! I have been accused of forcing punk on him, brainwashing him, etc., etc., etc......... Jakob's strong love of music has always been his own, I have just supported him wholeheartedly.

I am sick of mean comments & hate mail, especially when the comments are made from ignorant assumptions. Watch his vidz closely and you will easily see that he is very strong-willed and independent......a leader among his friends. By no means, is he capable of being led. Watch "stop staring at me", that video shows that he did not like being filmed and that he was not "propped-up" for these videos. Please read Jake's story before commenting. If you send me hate-mail or make shallow ignorant comments, I will remove them and block you.........sorry, but I do not have time for mindless drivel.
