Funny how we watch this and our emotions are stirred, yet we dismiss the children born to alcoholic or drug abusing mothers, children born with defects, children born into unwanted families, children who are orphaned...simply because the mother was not given her choice. We fight so hard to keep them alive, but once they enter the real world, they are thrown into the growing crowd of mistakes and reality. How about you go help the children who are already here, who are starving and in pain?

@april97cobra Once a baby has been born the mother has already chosen that she wants to bring life into this world. If she were to then kill her child that is murder because she is mentally unstable and could not live with her choice and took a life that is currently there. That's why there is a limit to when abortions can be have because at some point you have to make a decision and live with it. If you don't society will for you.

I was not conscious until I was about 3 and a half and as mark twain said "I do not fear death for i have been dead for billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it." A woman should be allowed to chose whether or not to donate her body to someone else to grant them life. We should not make this mandatory.

And really, most abortions are not late-terms like what you described- most of them are when you take a pill and pass a clot like having a period.

@APromisedHeartbeat it is human in the sense that it has human DNA and will one day (if everything goes right) will become a child and then an adult human but if you want to go that way, a human skin cell can eventually become a human, is it wrong to scratch an itch? a fly has 300,000 brain cells, a zygote has not even one thousand cells and none are brain cells, if you are truly worried about suffering than swatting a fly is worse than aborting a zygote, plain fact
