I cannot speak for all union members, but myself, I cannot be fired without due investigation and panel hearings. At-will, you can be fired for blowing your nose. The same way that crony officer gave a man a ticket for farting after the officer pulled him over.
Most people who talk about unionism and corporations don't really have a beat on most aspects of law and general policies, history and everything else. The most damaging law to unions were taft-hartley
