That's not the point I was making... It was that you had other options. And it wasnt the kennels fault your dog was quarantined they wouldn't of have a say in the matter. I have had no problems with the kennels or the staff.

@ D0Darko - please get your facts right. Scientific fact - it takes 1 to 3 months MAXIMUM for rabies to show. A 6 month quarantine period is completely unnecessary. There are a lot of people who have had terrible experiences with treatment and care of their pets at Chingford Kennels. We are entitled to our opinions as you are to yours. Be very careful using the word slander when we have photographic and recorded proof of what is reflected here.

My two dogs spent their quarantine in the Chingford kennels the staff were very helpful and took care of my animals. I was so happy with the level of care; I now board my dogs with them whenever I need to. This video is a poorly edited piece of trash that does nothing but slander good people.

Chingford kennels didn't makeyou board your animal with them. If you cared foryour animalyou would looked intoit better and found kennel that you liked. The six months was the law and didn't want to do it you shouldn't of brought your animal over. Even if your pet met the requirements to enter the uk. The kennels isn't responsible for not allowing you to skip quarantine. They just do what companies like defra make them do. They didn't just take your dog cause it's not their decision.

@D0Darko POINT 1: *I* BOARDED THE DOG WITH THEM, WITH ARRANGEMENTS MADE WAY IN ADVANCE WITH THE KENNEL, AFTER A LONG RESEARCH FOR WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ONE OF THE BEST FACILITIES.
POINT 2: DEFRA IS NOT A COMPANY, IT IS THE DEPARTMENT FOR RURAL AFFAIRS.
POINT 3: MICROCHIP, RABIES-FREE, PASSPORT AND TICKS/TAPEWORM TREATMENT *DO* MAKE A PET QUARANTINE FREE. UNDERSTOOD?

this is stupid, animals entering the uk have to spend 6 months in qurentine. its the law. if you dont want your dog to spend the time in qurentine dont bring them to the uk. The reason its 6 months is because that the time it can take rabies to show. Thanks to these strict laws the uk is rabies free.

@D0Darko my pet met all the requirements to freely enter the UK without quarantine, but they took him anyways. don't judge people before knowing the whole story behind this business.
