Russ Prager, explains to a witness his interpretation of the Guinness Book World Record Marathon Drumming Rules, ultimately 'perhaps' admits to numerous violations of the rules such as: no witnesses present to only one witness present instead of the min. required two. Witness time violations i.e.staying more than 4 hours (12 in his case), he admits to no log being maintained of the songs by witnesses, and much more. He explains this while no audio is 'audible' (he turned it all the way down to talk, which he often does) while playing a tapping on the snare drum by which the witness asks "don't you have to play the song" and Russ replies "no, it's a marathon ,I only have to be moving" The witness replies "can you play a solo" Russ replies "no I have to play along with the song" (contradicts himself). Russ compares his approach to that of the fictional movie "They shoot horses don't they",in real life could you imagine if the cyclist in the 'Tour De France' walked their bikes up the alps because touching and moving the bike is considered the same as riding?
*See the official rules posted on the Lou Mars Drums Blog. This is the same approach Russ used in his 120 hour attempt based on You Tube videos posted.
Hey Lou.. how did you get this footage!? Thats me talking with Russ.. Funny to see this back..! B.t.w. I believe he played by the rules of G.B.of R. although it may not look al that appealing, its like Russ said, it´s not the 100m sprints but a marathon..! Anyways.. i´m looking out for that battle that maybe is gonne take place between you, Russ and a bunch of other (long duration) drummers
Peace and Greetings from Eindhoven, Holland

@Goeroe15 - I was provided this video from Russ's Ustream. I have to disagree with you as the rules clearly state that you cannot "improvise" the songs to be played. In Russ's case the song wasn't even played at all, and in this video it is not even audible while he is talking. Even in running marathons, athletes follow a criteria to their profession, Russ in my opinion has not. However, the fault lies within Guinness for not verifying and authenticating records properly per their own rules.
