I visited Cortona in 2001.....it was an experience I'll never forget....most beautiful little place in the world. We also visited Florence and Rome, and while impressive, Cortona had our hearts from the get go. :)

just watching this after the awful earthquake in nearby italian province Abruzzo, ............. is rather poignant today, so beautiful...

does she still live there ? or jsut part of the year. i thought she was going to open up a resteraunt in the US.

Great great place...My wife and I have been there..we've even met Frances and were alowed to see her beautiful garden...such a nice person....
