you should take the ferry to Beppu, and party it up @ 68 on friday and saturday night.. Usually when tourist make it to Beppu they expect a super japanese experience only to be confronted with all of the international students living, and working in beppu.. ooo there was some drama @ sports bar last weekend. I wish I was back to see it. SOmeone pissed off one of the thai students, and now no one likes this person, and the person is new which is bad she will have a hard time making friends now.

Yeah I know what you mean. I'm already here. hehehe woot! Im in Kansai right now. Hyogo. Your right about it being rough but I am glad I studied up first cause it makes things a lot easier. I'm working as a teacher now and studying a lot more japanese but I can actually hold a conversation with someone now. I still want to work in the film industry so I will continue to try hard.

lol. Sorry;. I studied in Japan for a year at APU. It was great a good experience. I came in not knowing much JApanese, and ended up being pretty proficient in it. I am only good learning a language by being emerged in it. Anyway man if youplan to live in JApan. Don't have any expectations. Japan is pretty tough country to adjust to at first, but also really fun. I was living in Kyushu though which is closer to korea, and china than it is to tokyo.

there are many oportunities in japan, for those who just have a little balls to get out of their comfort zone and learn a new language. until may 4 this year i spent 7 years in japan. came back to the US to vote, publish my book about my experiences in japan, to pursue graduate studies and to give my wife the opportunity to do the same. after which its back home to kobe
Very inspirational.
