0-60 Dodge Ram 3.7 Liter V6

Yea, title explains what this is. Again, just another research tool for my fellow v6 ram owners trying to mod.

I upgraded from stock 17's (245/60r17) to stock 20's off a sport model (275/50r20). This difference in diameter and circumference is causing my speedometer to read 8.2% slower.

60 multiplied by .918 = 55.08
^^ SO, when needle reaches 55.08, i'm actually going 60mph.

I don't understand people who buy a v6 ram. Why? They're obsessed with upgrading it. Why don't you just save another grand or two and just get a v8. It would be much more reliable power. Plus, no matter what you do, the v6 ram sounds like ass. Yet another example why you shouldn't buy a full size truck with a half size engine.

and since u assume, it wasn't another grand or two. it was quite a bit more cause dealer was offering $4500 cashback on the v6/reg cab. so there ya go. and i was strapped for cash cause 1) v=0O6eDddJQ9 cost a lot to get running and 2) v=QkR_9Up8DnE and 3) your sisters vagina.

yea ive got an 03 ram v6 and ive only put it to the floor once at a red light and it spun the wheels intell it hit 48mph then shifted

I have an 05 1500 w/ 3.7, stock was doggier than anything I ever owned including a 79 cutlass with that crappy 260 v8! Couldnt reach highway speeds on merge with traffic on rt6. Solution ended up being, Cold Air Intake (Home built) Jet Chips stage 1 chip, Flomaster 44 and got rid of those cheap shitty NGK+R spark plugs. Result was 395 MPT over 365 (I do highway driving) thats on 23.5 average tank fill up. RPM's now go past 3000 entering highway with a usual speed of 60 on mph over the unsafe 48

@jorazz Highway miles or city? On city i can stretch 290 or so out, but on the high way i can totally see 400+. Still for a full size truck, its pretty good in my opinion.

i have this same truck also and its completely and i get around 470 miles on a tank of gas too, i dont not regret the v6 option one bit, those who down them must have never had one

@myhemi426 ill load up a vid of my v6 ram man it a 3.7l mag stoc cat and into 3 dual set up after that then 2 8" glass packs out the back into 9" diesel echo tips lol all ran with 2 and a quarter pipe

@driftkid20 First off you got ripped off I just got my brand new 08 v6 ram for $8,000 from the dealer. second you dont get 470 on one tank unless you have upgraded because i have the exact same truck and i only get 13 mpg...
