  • how much do red claw crabs cost

  • not much about 4 quid i payed for mine

  • They always need air sometimes though. Not happily. But just add a little aquarium or marine salt too. Not enough to hurt your fish though. Or move him to a different tank. OR take him back to the store.

  • no there is no need 2 add any salt as they do not live in salt water. and y would i move him 2 another tank or take him back 2 the store??????

  • Dont the crabs need to sitdown somewhere and breath ?

And doesnt he try eat the fish ?

  • yes the red claw crab can happily live in a tank with out the need to come up for air. But he does climb up the filter wire and sit on top of the tank sometimes.

  • Red Clawed Crabs do need access to air, the should have sand and they need brackish water to survive. A Red Clawed Crab actually likes to have more land than water although they need both.

  • @lint101 Red Clawed Crabs need land access and brackish water.

  • @lint101 ipaid2and49cent

  • Does your red clawed crab nip at the fish? I have three red clawed crabs but i'm afraid they'll nip at a goldfish or a turqouise guppy.. and i feed my red clawed crab pellets but would it hurt the fish if they ate those or if the red clawed crab ate the fish food?

  • i really like your tank set up would u recomend sand or gravel for a tank with live tropical plants?

  • Nice tank

That is a African dwarf aquatic frog and you have the worst set up ever for ghe crab it will die you need sailt and land

  • nice tank but i have a? how do u clean the tank with the sand?

  • @TTLEGOProductions, "they always need air SOMETIMES though"!!!!! do you actually know what you're saying as you've just contradicted yourself. Personally I wouldn't heed the advice of anyone that can't even make sense!

  • @lint101 yes they do need salt.. the live in bracksh water... tht is a mixure of saltwater and freshwater so a tiny pinch of salt per two gallons
