  • I agree with Ellison, kill the Internet!

  • He outs Nick Counter (Hollywood hired gun), he accuses Shakespeare of ripping of Seneca (which I didn't read about in English Lit class, but he probably did, I'll look it up) and he hugs his equally aged friend/sparring partner Walter Koenig and says "I love you!" You go boy!!!!!

  • Harlan Ellison reminds me of the Ferengi. (And no, I'm not saying that because he's Jewish.)

  • My question is, how many Harlan Ellison interviews, like this one, would people be aware of without the internet? Oh, that's right, you are using the internet right now!

  • all the honking... showings of support from the passers by? if so, then awesome... would never happen in my country. noone considers art important here.

  • @popper666 harlan elison is one of the few reasons americans can be proud of.. so show a little respect.

  • interviewer- "why are you hear to, and explain your sign?

Harlan-"because i raise llamas and i understand that the American Society of llama lovers, and or llama fuckers, was going to be out here today...what do you mean what im doing here!!!!??!!! HARLAN IS THE BEST XD

  • Ellison's works speak for themselves. He has probably the most fertile imagination, even beyond Ray Bradbury. His Imagination has no limit switches. If you use his works without his consent, he will sue your ass off! Announcing that here should make that an interesting case in court. "City on the Edge of Forever", which won numerous awards, was screenwritten differently than Ellison wrote it. He is not afraid to speak the truth. Asshole? Maybe... but definitely a great writer.

  • Abrams does write some things. He wrote MI III, which was the only decent entry in the series, for example.

  • yeah. it does.

  • That still doesn't mean he didn't steal the line.
