Be careful hairspray can flake and make it look like you have dandruff. I tried it and it is not even close to the shaper.

@kidxprodigy The shaper is used to stiffen the cap if it goes all floppy and yeah, it works ok. Just don't use too much...

@Silent23Ninja Depends on how often you clean your cap(s). Despite the effort you have to put into it, it does the job quite well without wrecking it like the washing machine.
