Skippy grooming himself

July 4, 2009. Kangaroos have three toes on their back feet, and one of them has TWO nails attached to one toe. It is called a grooming toe, and helps him keep up with his personal hygiene. Skippy also frequently licks his hands (with five fingers, which look remarkably like a raccoon's) and rubs them on his face. He was still a little unsteady on his feet at this age.
