  • How did you get him to eat on the towel? My dog always takes the food and run away.

  • @AznPwn9449 If they leave off the towel, I took the food away. He learned quick ifhe wanted to eat, stay on the towel :p

  • I wish I ate as well as Rosco! He seems to be doing quite well! Do you find it expensive compared to commercial foods?

  • its a bit more per month but no vet bills offset the costs

  • he is in great shape! How old is he and how much kg he has?

  • Thanks! At the time of this video, he was almost two years old. And i think around 53kg.

  • I feed my GSD, Trudy, raw meat. Raw food is the most biologically appropriate diet for dogs. She gets 80% meat, 10% bone, 5% liver, and 5% other organs. 50% of her diet is red meat, the other 50% consists of white meat and fish. Dogs do not need any plant matter in their diet and do better without it. Feedin a prey model raw diet to your dog is the best thing you can do for them.

  • Thanks for this vid! I've got two Mastiffs (Bull & Dogue), I just started them on a RAW diet. Already their coat, teeth, and even breath has improved dramatically. My guys look as big as yours, how many 1lbs are you feeding him a day approx? I've seen charts, but alot of owners just tell you to honestly ask an opinoin from another same breed owner.

  • Thank you for posting these videos. I'm about to take the plunge into starting my beagles on a raw diet. I appreciate being able to see what appropriate chewing looks like. I'm imagining my one boy to gulp whole and my other boy to take the food into a corner of a room to stare at it and play with it before eventually giving it a nibble.

    Rosco is lovely!

(I found a link to your videos on the raw feeding yahoo group ... doing plenty of research!)

  • Do a bit of research before commenting on a topic you dont seem to know anything about. Raw bones are very little if any risk at all do a dog. COOKED bones are a huge no no. This is where you see people have issues and problems. Amazing how the entire wolf/wild dog population hasnt been wiped out from eating bones!
