Boats and Birds (cover + dedication)

i felt the need to post this. the beginning is basically saying the following, incase you can't understand what i'm saying.

my grandma passed away a year ago tonight at 12:05am. the last time i saw her, inevitably, i didn't know it was going to be the last time i saw her. we were leaving, i had brought my little dumb guitar to play this song for her. it was the only one i knew how to play, and that she had ever heard me play. i really wish that i had played it for her, but i didn't know it would be the last time i saw her. so, i'm going to sing it now. i've covered it before, but it's a little different this time, so bear with me. it's called boats and birds.
