Its that time of year again I Im posting the Christmas records up again. Like this gem I found under a stack of square dancing record in Cortez Colorado. It the first cover of frosty the Snow Man by gene Autry as a follow up to his 1949 Hit Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. Im pretty sure this is not the version we are more familiar but I think its a nice snap shot of the 1950. The record is pressed in vinyl and is in horrible shape lol. I did my best to clean up the record but there are some deep gouges that I was unable to repair. Please enjoy and leave comments.

I'm surprised that it sounds this good with the ION turntable. Do you use a different (larger) stylus with the 78s?

@renodavid Yuppers, right now i can only afford the Shure M78 with 2.5 mil conical stylus, there a japanease company that can retip them to 3.5 mil but i don't remember the name right now.
