  • The look on Walter's face at the beginning.... If only he knew what was coming next. If only they all knew.

The acting was superb in this. Just... wow.

  • @AwesomeAuror

John Noble was on fire in season two and Joshua Jackson wasn't bad either in this scene.

  • Poor Walter :(

  • one of the best scene in season 2, joshua and john are ansowme

  • damn what a scene!

  • @TammyBristow1 Well of course Peter is too. I just think seeing Walter excited and happy in the beginning and then to see him absolutely devastated near the end had an impact on me. Peter was angry and mad, (he had every right to be), while Walter was just sad - The small antics and facial expressions made by the actor really blew me over.

  • Walter looks heartbroken in this scene.

  • I cried :'(

    Such amazing actors!

  • this scene is sooooo mindblowing! i mean, thinking back to the episode when the observer attacked peter he said to olivia "there are things happening here that i cannot even begin to explain and i'm not going anywhere until i can." and now he said "i understand walter, i understand everything now." and then he leaves. so meaningful and heartbreaking!

  • I don't excuse what Walter did - at all, because it was a terrible thing to do, to put Peter's real parents through as well as his own wife and of course Peter - but I can understand his desperation and longing for his son and feeling unable to resist keeping the other Peter.. On the other hand I think Josh has been growing as an actor on Fringe, I simply think he hasn't had something like this to show how good he was earlier..

  • This scene was so heartbreaking and I felt bad for both of them. I uderstand Peter's anger but I also get how hurt Walter was. Its scenes like this that make me love this show because it makes you care about the characters.

  • @ImaginarySacrifice I agree!
